N. 24

A male slave complained about pain on the chest on the 24th of this month. He had trouble breathing. I did not find a fever, but I gave him a bleeding of about ten ounces. I laid a geroon with the resin and cumin plaster and I put an oil with clove and mint on his painful side. I also gave him of the eclegma (prescription 11) to lick from as well as a boiled extract (prescription 8). But since the stuff in his lungs did not come loose and because of the pain and his weakening he died on the 30th of this month.
