On Board The Unity

Letters received and read: Jan Menkenveld captain on the ship The Unity, on sailing out to sea, dated the 2nd October 1761.

[the snow ship The Unity, ordered to depart and has sailed out to  sea some days after]   The lord Lantsheer, representing the other lords of the equipage, has reported to have been on board of the ship The Unity of captain Jan Menkenveld, accompanied by the lords of commerce and trade on the 30th of last month. They found the ship and its cargo in good condition and have ordered its departure. The ship set out to sea (according to the letter of the captain below) on the 2nd of this month. We wish him God’s blessing on his journey and with his trade, and wish to thank the lord Lantsheer for his report.
