We took the ship close to the shore in the morning, and put out the mooring bower for the low tide and the stream anchor for the high tide. So that we would not sway, we attached ourselves to the shore with buoy ropes at the back and front. Later throughout the day we had good weather. We cleaned the ‘tween decks and on the quarterdeck and fumigated it with juniper and incense. Later at night we had rain until the morning.
