The weather was good in the morning. At the beginning of the high tide during the forenoon we raised anchor and drifted up and towed. We had a squally sky in the afternoon. With high water we got to 4 1 fathom = 6 feet (170 cm) fathoms of sticky ground just beyond the old flake. Later throughout the day we had good weather. At night at the beginning of the high tide we lifted anchor and drifted up and towed. With the high water we anchored at 4 fathoms. It stayed this way until the morning.
