In the morning we raised our anchor at the end of the ebb-tide and let ourselves drift from the sandbankKaloot up to Flushing, our anchor broke and we took down our topmast and yards. We then sailed to Entrance of the Sloe, east of Rammekens on WalcherenFlakke, where we anchored during the day, west of the Fortress RammekensAlso known as Zeeburg, Walcherencastle. The flat-boat skipper immediately came on-board to unload. Throughout the day we unloaded the following: 9 3lb. canons and 7 whole barrels, 5 half Unit of volume of 222 Middelburgse jugs (1 jug = 1,25 liters)hogsheads of sugar marked I:D, 8 hogsheads of sugar marked DZ, 4 hogsheads of sugar marked AS/IV, 4 ditto in triangleO, 4 whole and 2 half hogsheads marked VR, 2 whole and 1 half hogsheads IMV, 4 hogsheads marked squaredB/DD, 4 whole and 2 half hogsheads marked SP/#, 2 hogsheads marked IC, 2 hogsheads marked IM/T, 2 hogsheads marked EFP and one hogshead of sugar marked 4/IM/#. In the evening and during the night we had a moderate breeze with squalls of hail and snow. The flat-boat skipper went off board to moor south of the castle. Nothing changed till morning.
