During the afternoon the weather was good. We took down the fore and stay sails and took the shackles off the slaves. At the start of high tide we lifted anchor and drifted up. During the first watch we anchored at 3 1 fathom = 6 feet (170 cm) fathoms at low tide. Later at night we had good weather until the morning.
