In the morning and forenoon there was a NW stiff breeze with heavy squalls. We raised our small-bower and put up the lower yards. In the afternoon we had a decreasing breeze. At the start of the high tide we moored again and put our boat and rowboat on board, dropping the sheet anchor. 5 ships departed from here. During dog watches and in the night: the wind was a NW to W, strong to weak breeze, good weather until the morning.
