In the morning and forenoon we had a gentle NW breeze and calm, and a rainy sky. We dried some sails and bought 17 baskets of rice, we painted the awning. We saw an English ship which was tacking up from below. In the afternoon there was a gentle WSW breeze and we bought a half A Dutch liquid measure of approximately 155 liters aume of palm oil.
