In the morning the wind was a NW normal top gallant breeze. The skies were dark. At dawn 2 of our carpenters took the canoe to the shore to fix the boat. In the forenoon we had good weather and there was a gentle breeze. We aired the light sails. A normal top gallant breeze came from SW in the afternoon. The boat came back on board with water and we sent it back to fetch more water. During the dog watches a fresh breeze came from SW. The weather was good at night until the morning.
