There was a light topgallant sail ENE by NE breeze throughout the entire morning and early afternoon and good weather. At noon our estimated compound course and covered distance of the last twenty-four hour was S 27½ miles, getting on the estimated north latitude of 24°19′ longitude same as previous, 355°5′, with a found north latitude of 24°20′. During the afternoon watch and dog watches we had a NE to NNW gentle wind, also calm wind, caulked the ship on the outside. In the first and middle watch we had a NNW to W gentle topgallant sail breeze and good weather till next morning.
