We had a fine breeze throughout the morning and early afternoon coming from a NE by E direction and good weather. We cleaned the gunners room. At noon our estimated compound course and covered distance of the last twenty-four hour was SW by S 39 miles, getting on the estimated north latitude of 34°39′, longitude 57°14′. We found the north latitude to be 34°33′. In the afternoon we cleared out the sailing locker en raised the old mainsail and foresail. The rest of the evening and night we had a fine NE by E to NE breeze and a heavily cloudy sky till morning.
