Good weather throughout the day. We sent 4 men to cut firewood and sent out the boat for water. We received 8 barrels of sugar on board marked AS/L and 30 bags of coffee beans marked P:C, and stowed them away. Today 2 of the sailors who had gone to the forest to cut wood ran away, one named Anthonij Colombo, the other Alonse Madroes, both from Spain. At night our boat came back with water on board. Nothing changed till morning.
