We had light SE airs in the morning. We put out the boat at dawn and had good weather in the forenoon. Our captain hired 3 canoes to fetch water and we bought a boy slave No. 3. We cleaned the entire ship and readied the main hatchway to take in water. 3 canoes were received on board and we also put the male latrineslave house on the side. The weather was good for the rest of the day and night till morning.
