The wind came from the land in the morning. The sea was high. Throughout the day wind from SW was a stiff breeze and the sea remained high. Today an English boat and an English warship passed further along the coast. The buoy rope of our stream anchor broke and at dusk the rope of the stream anchor broke close to the anchor. We dropped the mooring bower. Later at night the sea was high and a gentle breeze came SW to NW. Clouded sky until the morning.
