In the morning and forenoon the wind came from E by N to ENE and was a decreasing breeze from a stiff mainsail breeze to a Sail of which the surface areadouble reefed topsail breeze. We added tow reefs to the top sails. At noon our estimated compound course and sailed distance of the last twenty-four hours was N by W 13 miles, getting on the estimated north latitude of 15°31′ longitude 316°56′ with a found north latitude of 15°44’. In the afternoon we had a double-reefed topsail breeze and squally skies. During the dog watches there was an E by N stiff mainsail breeze. We lowered the top sails. Then during the night we had wind from E by N and it was a stiff mainsail breeze. We had high seas till morning.
