In the morning we had a NO wind. At dawn we raised anchor and tacked out, and at noon, with the start of the high tide, we dropped anchor at 4 ½ 1 fathom = 6 feet (170 cm )fathoms before the small-bower. Suddenly the rope broke, so we dropped the stream anchor and raised the small-bower. At night we managed to get it on board again, so we changed the rope and tied the new one to the anchor. We had good weather till morning.
