We had a gentle to moderate N to WNW topgallant sail breeze in the morning and throughout the day. At the start of the morning watch we sent out the boat for water. In the forenoon we saw to ships sailing further along the coast. We bought 2 slaves, a male and a female. We found out that three anchors, whose hoops had sprung en which had been stored next to each other, had emptied in the fore hatchway; 2 were marked ADP and 1 VOC.
