In the morning and forenoon the wind came from the land. We had a gentle breeze and good weather. In the afternoon and during the dog watches a normal top gallant breeze came from SW. During the dog watches we had stormy skies and a trade wind came from the E to SSE and brought a stiff breeze, rain, thunder and lightning. Later at night and until morning the skies were clouded and sometimes a stiff breeze came from S as well as W.
