In the morning and forenoon the wind was a fresh topgallant sail breeze coming from the SSW to SW. The weather was good. We put the large topmast shrouds on the port side. At noon our estimated compound course and sailed distance of the last twenty-four hours was NE by E 34 miles, which comes down to the estimated 32°40′ north latitude and 382°44′ longitude.
