We had good weather in the morning and forenoon. We received 9 whole and 2 half Unit of volume of 222 Middelburgse jugs. (1 jug = 1,25 liters) hogsheads of sugar on board, marked VR. At noon the rope holding the anchor before the ebb broke so we used our flood anchor. In the afternoon, at the start of the high tide, we raised anchor and found that about 6 or 7 1 fathom = 6 feet (170 cm) fathoms of the anchor was broken. We put the wooden end back in the anchor and moored again. At night we had good weather till morning.
