In the morning and throughout the day there was a rough breeze with rain. Several ships entered port, among them a Dutch a sailing vessel with three or more masts; with a square rigged foremast and fore-and-aft rigged main, mizzen and any other mastsbarquentine that had lost its main mast. At night we had a heavy storm from the SSW with mud and rain. We put out the sheet anchor; this way until the morning.
