We had good weather in the morning and forenoon. We sent out some folk to the forest to chop fire wood, and we stowed the sugar barrels away. In the afternoon there was a stormy sky with thunder and lightning. Our captain arrived at the fort. Throughout the night it was stormy, with thunder and lightning, and some rain till morning.
