In the morning the wind was an east decreasing breeze and we had good weather. With the afternoon and high water/tide we dropped the plummet line and raised the anchors. We took the ship further from shore and anchored on 1 fathom = 6 feet (170 cm)fathom, putting the best-bower to the N and the small-bower to the S. Later in the night the wind was an east weak and gentle breeze, good weather until the morning.
