Throughout the day a stiff breeze came from SW and the sky was squally. We cleaned up the ‘tween decks and in the quarterdeck. Three barrels were assembled. Later, during the dog watch, the wind was still a stiff breeze from SW and the seas were high. We found that a half of rapeseed oil had emptied. With the change of the watch we got a trade wind from the NNW with a stiff breeze, thunder and lighting. Later at night the wind came from N, and later W, and we had a weak topgallant sail breeze until the morning.
