In the morning and the forenoon the wind was a gentle breeze from the land and the sky was cloudy. Later throughout the day we had an average topgallant sail breeze from SW by W. We got 2 canoes with water on board. We had a stiff breeze during the dog watches and a gentle breeze at night. The weather was good until the morning.
