In the morning and forenoon there was a heavy air. We send folk to cut wood to make a cap for the fore mast. We found a span of the fore topmast shrouds which was also broken, so we made another span from the deck horse of the bowsprits shrouds. We had rain in the afternoon but during the evening and night the weather was good, till morning.
