An average topgallant sail breeze came from SSE in the morning. At dawn we raised anchor and set sail for the shore until a depth of 4 feet. We sailed for WSW and got a depth of 3½ feet, and we set sail for W. In the afternoon the wind was an average topgallant sail breeze from ENE and the weather was good. We passed the depth of 3½ to 2½ and later 1½ feet, and we sailed from and to the shore. At sundown we anchored at 4½ feet of mud. Later at night the wind and weather were the same as before until the morning.
