A gentle topgallant sail breeze came from SE in the morning. We had good weather and we cleaned on the ‘tween decks and on the quarterdeck. We fumigated it with incense and juniper. At noon our estimated compound course and covered distance of the last 24 hours was W 20 miles, with the same estimated south latitude as before, longitude 351º1’, and a found south latitude of 0º48’. In the afternoon we filled 6 barrels in the hold with salt water. During the afternoon, evening and night a weak topsail and average topgallant sail breeze came from SE and E and we had squally skies with rain and a weak breeze until the morning.
