Throughout the morning and early afternoon we had a NE weak to moderate topgallant sail breeze with good weather and a misty sky. At noon our estimated compound course and covered distance of the last twenty-four hours was SSE 34 miles, getting on the estimated north latitude of 12°8 longitude 357°35′ with a found north latitude of 12°12′. We headed in a SE by S direction and put the daily and single ropes in the anchor. In the afternoon, evening and night there was a NE to N weak to gentle topgallant sail breeze and a misty sky, with good weather till morning.
