In the morning and the forenoon the wind was a SW stiff breeze with strong squalls of rain and wind. In the afternoon and dog watches we had a hard storm: we took down the topmasts and the yards with these heavy squalls. At night there were heavy squalls of wind, hail and heavy lightning until the morning.
