Throughout the day the weather was good. In the morning many ships came from the ports of PlymouthEngland, United KingdomPleijmuijden. The wind was a SE to SW gentle breeze. We put our boat and rowboat in the ship. In the afternoon at 3 o’clock we came back to Pleijmuijden again because the breeze was gentle and we saw all the ship sailing back into port again. Also, we could not moor above Start PointEngland, United KingdomGoudtstaart, and the weather was completely unreliable. We were sailing in the Oost-Coffer behind the island. At 4 o’clock we received a pilot who anchored us at 6 o’clock at the mouth of the West-Coffer behind the island. He also brought a ship that had sailed out of the Oost-Coffer with us and also dropped anchor here. The wind was SW gentle and very quiet. We set the small-bower to the S and the kedge anchor to the N with the foot rope. Later in the night the wind was ENE, good weather until the morning.
