Throughout the day we had a SSW and SW moderate breeze. An English Ships which were usually as long as a ship-of-the-line and were square-rigged on all three masts (full rigged), but were faster and with lighter armament, used for patrolling and escortfrigate anchored here. We made Bunkerbeds between decks on port side and bought 12 slaves: 8 men and 4 women. It was stormy throughout the night, with thunder and lightning till morning.
